Day 1
ANTANANARIVO
Welcome and assistance at IVATO airport, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2
ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE
Lunch at leisure in Behenjy, where you can sample Madagascar foie gras. Stopover in the town of Ambatolampy, famous for its aluminum cooking pots: visit a family workshop on site. Arrival in Antsirabe, a town of water and thermal springs developed by Norwegian missionaries, now Madagascar's second-largest industrial city, as evidenced by its superb large modern houses.
Afternoon visit to Lake Trirtriva, 17 km from the town, a strombolian volcanic crater. The lake is related to the first Andarikiba lake, which was seriously affected by underground silt. The guide will be happy to tell you about the famous Malagasy Romeo and Juliet story (Ravolahanta and Rabenomby) that has made the lake so honored and revered; the forbidden practices are still to be respected.
On the way back, Andarikiba, the second lake, is a good place to watch the evening sun set.

Day 3
ANTSIRABE –AMBOSITRA
In Antsirabe, a visit to workshops such as the gemstone cutter, "Chez Joseph" for zebu horn objects, and "Chez Mamy" for recycling, embroidery and the manufacture of miniature toys is planned.
Departure for Ambositra, Madagascar's crafts capital. In the afternoon, we take a stroll around the town to reach the palace of the last king who ruled the town: we can already see the architecture typical of the country: wooden houses with windows, doors and beams carved without a trace of metal. These ingenious ideas have been passed down from generation to generation. At Antoetra, where the hike begins, you'll find bare mountains and a superb panoramic view.
Visit to craftsmen: sculpture and marquetry
Overnight at the hotel in Ambositra.

After breakfast, departure for Ambositra, the capital of Malagasy handicrafts, with a visit to local workshops and markets: marquetry and wood carving. We then continue along the RN7, contemplating the magnificent landscapes of the highlands (with terraced rice fields and terracotta houses).
Our destination is Ranomafana Park, where we'll spend 2 nights. If you're not too tired, we can go straight on with a nocturnal visit (a great asset for discovering the Red Microcebe, the Great Chérogale and Madagascar's smallest chameleon, such as the "Calumma nasutum, Calumma cryptique". Otherwise, you can either cancel it or postpone it until the following day, after the daytime visit.

Day 5
In the tourist town of RANOMAFANA
A hike through the rainforest with its magnificent vegetation and waterfalls is planned. It's also a chance to see other lemur species such as the Eulemur Rufus, the Golden Hapalemur or the Mylne Edouard Sifaka, not forgetting reptile species, endemic birds and numerous medicinal plants.

Day 9
ISALO
The walk gets off to an easy start, crossing a plateau that looks like an African savannah. Then begins the descent to the bottom of a steep valley on a well-groomed path with steps for the safety of less adventurous "other" tourists. And at the bottom flows the Namaza
This path leads to the Namaza canyon, at the edge of which a pleasant protective forest is home to shy lemurs. A 30-minute walk upstream brings you to the sumptuous Cascade des Nymphes, with its cool, clear waters. A visit to the Isalo natural pool, with the possibility of a swim, awaits you.
The day ends with a 6-7 hour hike after breakfast. The walk gradually increases in intensity, first crossing a plateau that looks like an African savannah. Then the descent to the bottom of a steep valley on a well-defined path with specially-designed steps for everyone's safety.
